Amy's Artist Statement

Art has no limit, no boundary. Art is a common language worldwide and a reflection of the time and space we live in. Therefore, I enjoy incorporating traditional Chinese brush painting with my Western art training to create a fusion of both cultures within my work. Art is persistently discovering the mystery of nature. In painting, there is completion, but there is no correction".

Marianne's Artist Statement

My mixed media constructions and art installations investigate shifts in cultural and individual values associated with everyday objects and discarded materials. I present these artifacts in new configurations that reinforce the interconnectedness of people and communities through time and infuse historical symbols with contemporary meanings.

Dianne's Artist Statement

My sculptures, which I call Earth Icons or The Figures, are “poems as earth.” They summarize and hold in a feather or stone all that has ever been written or done, all that has been performed or spoken aloud by one who aspires to find at least one right word or possibly the next one. The natural object is the key that unlocks the mysteries of language and truth, and reminds us to reverence our natural world and to hold as precious our own very small piece of the human experience.
